MUSEUM MARTKET pays tribute to time-honoured
Peranakan artistry with a contemporary lifestyle
collection. The designs refresh tradition and highlight
the exquisite embroidery (Sulam) and spellbinding laces
of Kebaya, a distinctive blouse favoured by Peranakan
women, as well as the sublime Peranakan beadworks
taken from The National Collection. In December 2024,
UNESCO has inscribed Kebaya as an intangible cultural
heritage of humanity.
