Farquhar, the first Resident and Commandant of
Singapore from 1819 to 1823. These natural history
drawings depict the flora and fauna of the Malay
Peninsula, most likely accomplished by local Chinese
artists. Collection of the National Museum of Singapore,
National Heritage Board. Gift of Mr. G. K. Goh.
