Wu Guanzhong: Travelling with the Master is the first exhibition at the Gallery to be co-created by long-serving docents and the gallery. This exhibition comprises generously donated works from the artist and his family, as well as a compilation of archival materials. It explores Wu’s conceptual, physical and emotional journeys.
Wu Guangzhong (1919-2010) remains an important artist in modern Chinese art history. He is renowned for his landscapes, which incorporated both Western and Asian artistic traditions.
